Two nights in sleepy Vientiane

 

Arriving at the airport, you will met and driven to your hotel. After check-in to your hotel, and some rest time, then a relaxing afternoon walking tour will get you acquainted with the easygoing lifestyle of the Lao people and their small Capital. Your guide will show you some interesting attractions on the following day, including Vientiane's oldest temple, Wat Si Saket, Wat Ong Tu, That Luang Stupa, the 'morning' market and Patuxay monument.

Two nights in the backpacker-haven of Vang Vieng

A morning drive will take you to Vang Vieng with stops to visit the colourful market of Thalat and the famous archaeological site of Vang Xang. After lunch, a short drive will bring you to the Khmu village of Viengsamay, about 10 km north of Vang Vieng. You’ll take your mountain bike along the karst range of the Nam Song and Vang Vieng, then a steep hike leads to Tham Poukham Cave, “Cave of the Golden Crab", followed by the narrow valley of the Houay San stream until the Pha Deng "red cliff" and a visit to the village of Phonxay. You’ll spend another night in Vang Vieng.

The last night in Vientiane

After breakfast and a morning drive will take you back to Vientiane. In the afternoon, you’ll have a visit to the Buddha Park and the impressive Friendship Bridge which links Laos and Thailand.

Farewell

Your time is yours until your private car and driver arrives to take you to the airport for your departure flight.
